Participating in Biomonitoring

Women’s health and advocacy groups in the Global South need to be full partners in breastmilk biomonitoring, and to be fully informed of the advantages and complexities of breastmilk biomonitoring. Women and women’s organizations in each country need to determine how to best craft the complex message that will ensure breastmilk data will be used to decrease the chemicals in all our bodies rather than decrease the number of women that breastfeed.
